Yikes! Did He Just Give Me a Senior Discount?
Maybe the old adage 'You're Only as Old as You Feel' is worth paying attention to according to the 'experts'. Face it and embrace it, but when you've got senior discounts kicking in at the tender age of 50 at some stores and restaurants, it's hard not to feel all frumpy and grumpy.
Yes, there are financial benefits to 'looking' old, but 'feeling' it is another story. Our minds can be our greatest ally, yet our greatest enemy. Thinking positive about aging and embracing it can be challenging and exhausting even on the best of days. But cheer up. There are plenty of interesting articles and tips on how we can learn and train our minds to be on our sides. And maybe that's the secret to positive aging!
